Burn a Bale, Go to Jail

Our Burn a Bale, Go to Jail campaign promotes hay stack fire prevention in Imperial County. The Imperial County Farm Bureau manages the campaign and works hand in hand together with the Imperial County Sheriff and Fire to prevent arson and promote the reporting of suspected criminals who start hay stack fires in Imperial County. The Burn a Bale Program offers a reward of up to $50,000 for the arrest and conviction and sentencing of anyone convicted of arson involving haystacks.
