Imperial County
Crop Reports & Crop Report Plus
The Imperial County Ag Commissioner's Office publishes a Crop Report each year since 1940 to showcase Imperial Valley's unique agriculture system and economic benefits.
The Agricultural Commissioner is proud to present the Economic Contributions of Imperial County Agriculture, a Crop Report “Plus” series publication as well. This report strives to measure the total economic impact of our local agriculture on the Imperial County economy by taking into account not only the “direct effects” of food production, local processing, and employment, but also “indirect effects” such as farm business purchases of equipment, fertilizer, seed, etc., and “induced effects” such as farm employees’ spending on housing, healthcare, etc.
